Create a paper chain of Metro Men based on Ray Smith’s concrete figures!
Use papers and scissors to make your own paper chain decoration in the shape of Metro Men, a set of sculptures which were installed around Haymarket in 1999. Give them hats, jumpers and colourful decorations! Sculptor Ray Smith’s installation was called ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’ and the concrete figures helped transform the space and protect pedestrians from busy traffic around the Metro.
