Sunday morning hand’s-on city-making workshops where all the family can get involved.

Join us on the first Sunday of the month for a family session exploring how cities are planned, mapped, and improved!

Each month a member of The Farrell Centre team will lead a creative, hands-on session tackling a different idea relating to city making, everything from playgrounds to public transport. Making will be followed by a story.

These sessions are focused to under 7s, however older siblings are more than welcome to come along too!

2nd March – Public Sculpture

Learn about the city’s public sculpture, from the Angel of the North to Grey’s Monument, we will think about the role they play in our city from creating landmarks to commemorating moments and figures from history. Expect a special game of musical sculptures!
