Create your own mosaic tile and learn some simple DIY skills along the way.

Join artist Katie Watson for a Half Term workshop experimenting with mosaics. Inspired by our current exhibition BUILDING, we will explore how buildings are constructed and think closely about the ways materials are used during the process. Katie will take us through simple steps, from initial design through to creation using  clay and mosaic pieces to make unique tiles to take home!

What to expect

Hands-on making: A opportunity to experiment with new materials such as clay and mosaic tiles.

Artist expertise: Learn first-hand from a practicing artist in this Half Term Workshop

Create an Artwork: Take home a unique and original tile to show off to your friends and family.

Important information

This workshop is suitable for participants aged 7+

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book both yourself and your child a place on this workshop.
