26 February 2026 – 18 December 2026
An exhibition exploring the regeneration of Newcastle’s Quayside.
2026 marks forty years since the inception of the plan to regenerate Newcastle’s Quayside which had fallen into decay and disrepair.
This exhibition explores the ideas and aspirations that shaped the regeneration plan, the individuals and organisations who drove them forward, and the circumstances that made the project such a success.
The exhibition has been organised with Paul Greenhalgh and Kevin Muldoon-Smith, and the North East Regeneration Archive (NERA).
