Until 25 February

Natalie Bamford’s Direct Me: Getting to Know Newcastle, Walking in your Footsteps.

Direct Me is a display of the outcomes of Natalie Bamford’s interdisciplinary PhD research, which explores the possibilities that that the study of spatial knowledge could have on how we view our cities.

The display presents knowledge that Bamford has uncovered about Newcastle by following the spatial directions of residents that lead her through their personal journeys around the city.

Bamford has been able to step into the shoes of those that know Newcastle best and has learnt something new about the city. In this display she invites visitors to see if what she has discovered in her research rings true with their own experiences and offers new ways for the public to explore the city themselves.

Until 25 February
