Learn from practicing artists and get creative during this holiday workshop.
Join Newbridge Print to question what a ‘creative city’ might look like to you. Guided by practicing artist from Newbridge Print you will learn about new materials, processes and even have a go at creating your unique ‘drawing tool’.
During the workshop we will create individual layered artworks to take home as well as a large scale collaborative piece which will later be displayed as part of the Farrell Centre’s Ideal City exhibition.
Important information:
This workshop is suited to children ages 7+
This workshop is free, and kindly supported by Newcastle City Council.
Please note you only need to book a place for your child however children must be accompanied during the workshop.
About Newbridge Print:
Newbridge Print is an open printmaking studio based in Shieldfield run by George Stewart and Niall Greaves. The studio is rooted in experimentation and graphic arts and offers workshops and technical support in arrange of printmaking processes.

Expect hands-on making, discussion and play.
