What’s on?

Urban Rooms: Dolls Housing

Join us for a unique housing project – for dolls! Influenced by our project, Housing for All, we’ll be creating a new living space for dolls and we’d love your contributions. We’ll be building miniature furniture, printing decorative wallpaper and constructing essential parts to make a fully-functioning estate – think elevated walkways and shared gardens.

Galleries: Housing for All

Explore the exhibitions, displays and films which make up our current project, Housing for All. Housing Standardisation explores who designs our homes and how we live. Newcastle Quayside at 40 celebrates forty years since the regeneration of the area. Song of the Suburbs is a BFI-supported film by local filmmaker Graham Williamson exploring life in the British suburbs, whilst our Urban Rooms are home to a new display on local New Towns, featuring work from Amberside Gallery and Newcastle University students.

Last entry – 22.00
