Sunday morning hand’s-on city-making workshops where all the family can get involved.

Join us on the first Sunday of the month for a family session exploring how cities are planned, mapped, and improved!

Each month a member of The Farrell Centre team will lead a creative, hands-on session tackling a different idea relating to city making, everything from playgrounds to public transport. Making will be followed by a story.

These sessions are focused to under 7s, however older siblings are more than welcome to come along too!

Sunday 1st June – City Re-Design

In this session we will be thinking about how cities change and develop. Over Half Term our wonderful visitor have been making a new versions of Newcastle’s City Model, using paper building nets and cardboard. We will reflect on what has been made and have a go at re-planning this cardboard city!
